Prolifics needed a database migration tool to move customers between vendors but found existing solutions were not good enough. We needed customisable automation that provided transparency, considered the applications, and guided the creation of the optimal solution. When we couldn’t find it, we built it ourselves, combining automation with expert oversight for unmatched results.
Database Agnostic
Unlike other tools that convert directly from one database to another, ADAM uses a hub-and-spoke model. It first converts various databases (e.g., Postgres, Db2, Sybase, SQL Server, Aurora) into a central model, then converts that model to the target database, making it versatile across all major relational DBMSs. So, if you want to move to or from Postgres, Db2, Sybase, SQL Server, Aurora, etc etc – then ADAM will work for you.
